iCoolsoft M4A Converter for Mac is an audio conversion utility. You can use it to convert your M4A files into MP3, WMA, WAV, AAC, AC3, AIFF, AMR, AU, FLAC, MP2, OGG, or MKA files. Those are the most popular audio formats. The application doesn't restrict the files that you can load into your conversion queue. You can load video and audio files. The input format support is as good as the output format support. I loaded MP3, MKA, MKV and even MOV files just fine. When you load video files, keep in mind that the converted file will only include the audio track; the video will be discarded.

There is only one editing tool that can be used to trim your input file to make it shorter. It is very easy to operate. All you need is to select the start and end times, or type the times that you want to use to trim your file.

You can add as many files as you want to your conversion queue, even different types of files, and you can choose a different conversion format for each one of them.

In my testing, I loaded an MKV file and an M4A file. I converted both of them to MP3, since that is the main use for this app. The conversion process was very quick, and the resulting MP3 files played quite well on iTunes.
