Thanks to this program, you can easily create/remove partitions, resize/move them, change their order, format them, change their drive letters, check their properties and more. All of that can be performed within a friendly and intuitive user interface.
By its nature, partition management is a task that should only be performed by expert users and system managers. However, this program uses leading-edge algorithms capable of manipulating your partitions in a secure way that will prevent you from losing your information or accidentally damaging your partition table. Besides, this utility comes with a series of 20 mini-tutorials that tell you how to perform any of the supported operations, step by step, and they are also available online. Of course, reading them is an excellent way to get familiar with the program's functionality and usage.
The program's main window automatically displays all the partitions detected on your hard disk(s), and all you need to do is right-click on a partition and select the required operation. As is common in many tools of this type, this one allows you to program a set of operations to be sequentially performed on your partitions (e.g. you may need to shrink one first to be able to expand another one). Once you have finished your new configuration, you just need to click on the "Apply Changes" button for the program to perform all the pending operations. It should be also mentioned that IM-Magic Partition Resizer Professional includes some extra tools that are usually not present in other similar tools, like its own defragmentation utility and its own filesystem explorer.
To sum it all up, IM-Magic Partition Resizer Professional offers you an excellent set of functions to manage your partitions and re-configure them according to your needs, plus some extra utilities. The only drawback I can mention for this tool is that, in my opinion, it's a bit pricey as compared with other programs that offer similar functionalities.
