iMacsoft iPhone Photo to Mac Transfer is a backup utility. Although the name of the application seems to suggest that only photos can be backed up using it, that is not the case. Photos, music, movies, ringtones, and playlists can all be transferred from your iPhone to your Mac. The application also allows you to transfer data to your iPhone from your Mac. The majority of these "iPhone transfer" apps only lets you transfer data one way. And when they do let you transfer data both ways, they are a bit more expensive than the $14.99 that this application costs.
When you connect your iPhone, the application will instantaneously detect it and display a summary. On the left pane, the device will be listed, along with all the different types of data that you can transfer. Your playlists will also be listed there. Transferring data from the iPhone to your computer is as easy as checking the files and clicking on the third button on the top toolbar. If you want to put content on your phone, you can do so with the first two buttons.
I like that this application was able to detect my iPhone even when iTunes didn't allow me to sync with it anymore. This means that you can simply take the application with you to any computer and transfer data to and from your iPhone without the trouble that is syncing your phone.
In my testing, I was able to transfer data both ways without any problems. The only trial limitation with this app is the number of batch files that you can process.
