iMoviesoft DVD Maker is a DVD authoring program for the Mac. This application can convert your video files so that you can create a DVD movie out of them. The input format support is quite good. The most popular formats are supported. I personally opened MKV and DivX files without any problems. When you add files to a new project, you will notice how a bar is filled at the bottom of the screen. This bar tells you how much video time you can add to a compilation. Regular DVDs can store around 83 minutes and dual layer discs, up to 151 minutes.
iMoviesoft DVD Maker lets you use one of the included themes for your DVD menus, and you can also create your own by using background images and music. If you don't use a menu, your video files will start playing when you insert your DVD disc in a DVD player.
I didn't get good results when exporting my projects with this application. At first I selected DVD Folder as my output format. After the process was done, I saw three windows with error messages saying that the application couldn't be opened because it was a PowerPC app. I tried converting my movie to ISO as well, and the errors appeared again. My bet is that this app uses some old component for exporting the projects and since support for PowerPC is no longer included in modern versions of Mac OS X, the application can't complete the process. I tested this on Mac OS X Lion.
