Impresso Pro is an image editor designed for Mac that gives you access to a wide variety of visual effects and helps you transform digital photos into stunning works of art. The application is very intuitive, so even users with little experience in image editing can easily get the quality artworks they need.
Unlike the standard version of this program, Impresso Pro provides you with a multitude of useful features. For example, it offers you a lot more visual effects and gives you the ability to add multiple layers to your digital photo, one for each of the applied visual effects.
All visual effects are available on the bottom side of the main screen. Once you select the preferred effects, a new panel appears on the right side of the main window. There you will find a set of advanced configurations for setting the proper brush size, opacity level, stroke volume, and many others.
Unfortunately, the trial version of this application is a bit limited. To be more exact, it doesn't let you export the altered image. So, you don't know exactly which are the supported output formats. On the homepage of the developer as well as on its Mac App Store page there's no information available regarding the supported output formats. However, if these details matter a lot to you, you can always write an email to the developer and request the necessary info.
All in all, Impresso Pro provides you with a simple way to transform plain digital pictures into paintings. It offers you quality output files, comes with easy to configure settings, and is affordable.
