ImTOO AVI to DVD Converter is a DVD authoring software. It allows you to convert your AVI files into a DVD movie, which you can burn straight from the application. If you don't want to burn it with this app, you can save it as a DVD folder or ISO image, which you can then burn with any other application.
This is a nice tool for all those who want to share an AVI file with people who might not be computer-literate or just to send as a gift. DVDs are steadily losing popularity, so I don't see another reason why you would want to convert an AVI file to DVD. In my case, I do it to send movies to my mom, who can't seem to figure out how to work VLC.
The main window includes all the settings that you need. There is the menu selection pane, the conversion settings, a video player, and the space for your video files. There is a bar at the bottom of the screen that tells you how much space you have left in your compilation.
I like the fact that this app can put .SRT subtitles on your DVD movies. Most commercial DVD authoring apps don't have this feature. There is also a video trimmer and an editor that you can use to add different effects.
