ImTOO iPod Computer Transfer is a nice utility for iPod owners. It can be used to download the content of your iPod back to your Mac. You know that this might not be possible with iTunes, especially if you don't have the iPod synced with your computer. Some of the things that this application lets you download are: your photos, music, videos, books, playlists, ringtones, and your camera roll.
ImTOO iPod Computer Transfer will also work with iPhones, and it might with an iPad. When you connect a supported device, it will be listed on the left pane. Below its name, you will see the data categories I listed above. When you click on one, you will see the content on the right pane. So, if you click on "Music", you will see a list of all the songs on your device, with album art, and the name of the artist and the album the song corresponds to. The app comes with a music player, so you can double click on an item to play it.
At the bottom of the screen, you will see a toolbar that lets you copy selected content to another device directly or to your computer or iTunes library. You can also put content on your device. This is very useful for users who don't like syncing with iTunes just to add a new song.
