iSkysoft DVD Ripper is a very complete DVD ripping solution. It allows you to copy and convert your DVD movies into computer video formats such as MPEG-4, H.264, DivX, and XviD, among many others. The app has a very clean interface and work has been put into making this app look like a native Mac app, and I like that a lot. The graphical user interface is very responsive and intuitive, which makes the app very easy to use, even for users who don't really understand the conversion process.
When you first launch the application, iSkysoft DVD Ripper will detect your DVD movie in your DVD tray and load the appropriate files for ripping. In the case of movies, this seems to work well, but I have tried it with TV-show DVDs, which have four or three main titles, and the application only detects one. You can still load them manually by selecting the right IFO or VOB file, though.
You can select the subtitle and audio track that you want to use for your final file and the conversion profile. There are many different profiles, including some for Apple devices, consoles and regular video formats.
All in all, despite the little problem with TV DVDs, this ripper works very well. It has a great interface and it supports quite a few formats.
