iStonsoft JPG to PDF Converter is an application which helps you convert images from JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, and TIFF formats to PDF files.
The interface is simple, so that you will not encounter difficulties in working with the program. Although the developer states that this tool supports all the above mentioned formats, I personally wasn’t able to convert TIFF files since I am not allowed to select images with this extension.
The images can be added to the conversion list in two ways; you can select the files one by one or an entire folder containing image files. As this tool doesn’t provide a preview of the images, I recommend to pay more attention to what pages you intend to convert. Once you have completed the list of files for conversion, you can use the option to merge all images into one PDF file. You can also select the margins of the output file. This trial is fully operational; the only restriction consists in the number of conversions, which is limited to 15. So you have an opportunity to explore it and see whether it is the program you are looking for.
The conversion goes smoothly and quickly. But since the application doesn’t provide advanced setting options (such as compressing, changing the resolution or quality of the images), the size of the output PDF file is the sum of all the dimensions which belonged to the input merged files. This may cause you problems when you want to send such a file via email, because its size is too large.
