iTool AVI To iPhone Converter is a commercial video converter. It was designed to let you convert AVI video files to files that can be played on the Apple iPhone. The application can convert videos to MP4 files using the MPEG-4 and MPEG-4 AVC codecs. This converter uses six conversion profiles. They vary in the codec and resolution used. If you want to manually customize a profile, you can do so by clicking on the "Settings" button, which will bring up a new window with a few conversion settings. These are video size, video quality, audio quality, and channels.
Graphically, the application uses the same layout as many other commercial converters out there. Instead of going with a solid background for the interface, the developers used an image. There are flames at the bottom of the screen and a couple of lines and stars at the top. I don't like it much, I would rather have a solid background. But that is just my opinion.
This app is missing some features that other converters come with, like a video editor. Also, there are no profiles for the iPhone 4.
