The program can check the spelling as you type, or you can set it to do this only when you activate the command. The main disadvantage of this program is that it uses Google Translate's engine, so you need to be online for using it. Also, there is not much advantage in purchasing a program that does exactly what an online service does for free. I made a translation using the program and using Google Translate, and there were no differences at all.
You can use the shareware version of the program during 60 minutes and translate files with 200 characters or less. If you find the program useful and intend to enjoy all its capacities, then you will need to purchase a license, which is very affordable.
