Most children love solving jigsaw puzzles. There are even a large number of adults who like recreating images from small pieces. Jigsaws Galore allows its users to put together jigsaw puzzles in a virtual environment.
Jigsaws Galore is an addictive game that is appropriate for kids, as well as for adults. The difficulty level can be easily customized, according to the needs of the user. This program allows you to determine the number of pieces that the puzzle image should be made of, their size and their “oddness”. Moreover, this application features “fun pieces”, which have various shapes such as human figures, stars, butterflies etc.
While testing this game, I found a lot of things that I actually liked. For starters, you can instruct the program to show the original puzzle image in the background of its window, or complicate things by keeping it hidden. Another function that I consider to be an advantage is that you can ask the application to organize the pieces that you haven’t placed yet.
What’s really interesting is that this game also includes “cheats”. You will be able to ask the computer for hints or make the program solve the puzzle by itself. This can take the fun out of the game, but is also very helpful in some situations.
In conclusion, Jigsaws Galore is a fun game that I recommend. Its free version can offer many hours of enjoyment and if you need more puzzles you can always go for the paid version of the program.
