JLearnIt is a shareware multilingual and multiplatform dictionary and translator suite. This program can also be run online. The installation package installs two applications: Basic JLearnIt, and JLearnIt. Basic JLearnIt features a translator that translates a word or sentence from/to English, Dutch, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Danish, Portuguese, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Hungarian, Russian, Latin, and Czech. We can select to translate a line, or translate as we type. JLearnIt displays an English vocabulary which has been organized by categories (grammar, conjugation, language, time, man, society, hobbies, world, economy, etc.), plus a multilingual dictionary (English, French, Spanish, Dutch, German and Italian), and questionnaire. This program is very easy to use. First, we can select a group of words in the vocabulary section. Then, we can view and learn how the English words are written in the other languages. Next, we can go to the Question section, and start answering the questions about the selected category. Finally, after pressing enter, we will be able to view if our answers are correct or not, and go to the next question. At the end of the exercise, we are presented with our scores. This product can be evaluated free of charge. JLearnIt 5.0 has been widely enhanced by correcting mistakes, adding new words, and new features such as the Translate As I Type.
