Kaskade! is an enjoyable and original puzzle game in which you must place blocks with four squares with a color in the middle on the board to make matches with the existing ones. To place the blocks on the board you must slide them in a way that when they land they create a match of three or more squares with the same color. When you make a match, those squares are eliminated from the board and you get points. When you reach a certain amount of points, you advance to the next level. You must avoid filling the board, or the game will be over.
As you progress in levels, the games gets more and more challenging with multiple colors to make matches. The blocks can be rotated to make the match you want by using the right mouse button or with the 'Space' keyboard key. The game offers three difficulty levels (easy, middle, and hard), but sadly, only one mode. It features colorful graphics, simple sounds, but, unfortunately, no music.
In short, if you are looking for an enjoyable and different match-3 game to pass the time, Kaskade! may be a nice choice.
