PST (Personal Storage Table) files are used for storing messages, calendar events, and other items within Microsoft’s mail clients. Though PST is a popular and widely-used mail storage format and it's supported by all the popular Microsoft mail clients, including Microsoft Exchange Client, Windows Messaging, and Microsoft Outlook, viewing the contents of these files is not that simple, especially when one of the aforementioned email clients is not at hand. For such situations, the utility called Kernel Outlook PST Viewer have been created.
Kernel Outlook PST Viewer is a neat and handy application that offers a convenient method of opening PST files and viewing their contents. Unfortunately extracting mails, attachments, contact data or calendar entries from the PST files using this tool is not possible. If you need to do that, you need to look for other applications, ones that are capable of performing PST data recovery jobs. Kernel Outlook PST Viewer is only capable of displaying the contents of PST files. Anyway, this doesn't mean it's useless. It can prove handy and of undeniable help in plenty of situations. Just don't expect any additional features or advanced options. It can only export complete lists of messages to HTML tables and as I already mentioned, extracting and exporting separate emails is not supported.
To conclude, if you only need to open and view the contents of PST files, then this neat application will do just fine. If you want more than that, then you should find some other app.
