KeyLemon is a desktop application that can help you unlock your Windows session without needing to type your password. Instead, this tool uses face and voice recognition technologies to guarantee no unauthorized person can log in to your account. More than just that, it can take pictures of the person in front of the computer after unsuccessful sign-in attempts. This way, you can know the identity of any possible intruder.
This utility is quite easy to set up. It has a very intuitive interface, which even has tutorials to create face and voice profiles. Besides, it lets you choose your login method and set a security level. As an additional measure, you can use eye blink detection so that the program can rule out that a picture of you is being used instead. Moreover, the tool allows selecting the preferred camera and microphone. Finally, other features can be added by using plugins.
Fortunately, KeyLemon’s accurate identification doesn’t depend on a single picture or voice recording. You can easily create various face and voice models to guarantee the program doesn’t have problems to know it’s you, even if you’re wearing glasses or the lighting conditions are inadequate. In addition, it can take shots of your face every day to follow any changes in your personal appearance. However, my experience of using this program is that it often takes some time to recognize me, even longer than I need to type my password.
All in all, KeyLemon uses two ways to authenticate you. Besides, it can take additional measures to preserve your security. It’s a pity that such methods as voice recognition and eye blink detection are only available from the Gold edition.
