Kooloader is a download manager. The program is small and the interface is simple and easy to use. This is a very simple program. We can add the URL, delete it, etc. Resuming of the download is possible with websites supporting it. Download Scheduling is the feature I like, because I need to download files during free hours of broadband.
The customizable settings are arranged in sections/tabs. The general settings include the download folder, temp folder, program entry in Windows startup, clipboard monitoring, etc. Connection settings allow a proxy to be customized. Also the number of segments for a file to download (to speed up the download by using multiple streams for the same file) can be specified. The other tabs give default time for scheduling and the languages.
I didn’t like the program except for the download scheduling. The program lacks many features. It is not that user-friendly. Keyboard shortcuts aren’t included. I would recommend FDM (Free Download Manager) which is the best download manager available. It is also a freeware.
