Kung Fu Killforce is a great beat-them-up game for the Mac. There are versions for the iPhone and the iPad as well. This is an ultra-violent arcade game in which you have to kill as many enemies as you can before you die. You will face wave after wave of different enemies who have their strengths and weaknesses. The more enemies you kill and the faster you do it, the more points you will score. Landing combos and killing enemies in quick succession also gives you a bonus multiplier.
You control your fighter's movement with the arrow keys or the W, A, S, D keys. You can jump, strike and carry out special moves. There are platforms in the level and you can use those to take a break from killing enemies or escape from them. Some of the enemies will jump up there, though, so you can't stay still for too long.
What I really like about this game is that there are a lot of gameplay elements that make it complex. You have a certain fighting style that you can change via a power-up that you can collect during the game. You can learn more about every little aspect that makes this game great in the "How to play" screen.
In conclusion, Kung Fu Killforce is a great, fun and even challenging game. It costs only $2.99 and it is a nice game to play when you need to kill some time.
