This Mac application was designed for users who wish to practice their Spanish speech and writing skills. The program comes with an intuitive interface and gives you access to many activities that put your knowledge to the test in an entertaining way.
Learn Spanish Deluxe offers you the following activities: Vocabulary Trainer, True or False, Verb Conjugations, Spelling Test, Hangman, Anagram, Memory Match, and Word Search. My personal favorite is the first one where you need to select an image out of four that matches a given word. The app keeps track of the number of correct and wrong answers.
You also have access to dozens of flashcard sets which come in handy when practicing what you've learned, like the translations of some adverbs and irregular verbs.
The one thing that doesn't seem to be working at all is the text-to-speech feature. Nothing happened when I tried to play the correct pronunciation of words in Vocabulary Trainer.
As for the rest, the application worked great. Learn Spanish Deluxe let me choose between various activities, was very simple to handle, and didn't slow down the performance of my Mac at all.
