Legbreakeris a freepuzzlegame that was developed by Azaan Lambkin for PC devices. It's aplatformergame that places you in the shoes of acaptive test subjectwho is involved in trials for anexperimental serumthat boosts muscle power when injected into one's quadriceps.
This drug grants you the superhuman ability tojump long distances. There is a catch, however, in that every time you jump, it causes one of yourlegs to break, hence the game's name, Legbreaker. This2D game's unique mechanic challenges you to clear stages and escape captivity.
You are a kidnapped test subject that was injected you with a serum thatboostsleg power, allowing you to jump really high. However, you have to deal with the fact that you will break one of your legs each time you jump. You must now use yournewly gained abilityto clear areas andescape the facility.
The controls in Legbreaker are simple and easy to learn. You use theWASDorarrow keysto move your character through each level. Meanwhile, you use theSpacebarto jump and progress through dialogue. You can press thePor theEsckeys to pause the game. Lastly, you can press theRkey to restart the level.
Levels and puzzles will progressively get more complex withtraps and movable objectsto get in your way. There are some things that could be improved, though. For one, movement issluggish and imprecise. Another is that you haveno controlover your jumps, making it unnecessarily hard to gauge them.
All in all, Legbreaker'sunique game mechanicmakes it stand out in the crowded 2D platformer game space. Itsclever puzzlesprovide a fun challenge without confusing players with overly complex systems. Its controls could be better, but it's a great game overall. If you're a fan of platforming games, this one is worth checking out.
