Many professions have their own lists of words they use with a given sense. Also, there are people who work with foreign languages and need a lexicon of the words they use more often. This free program lets you create lexicons of different subjects easily, allowing you to share them with your colleagues, students or online by creating a setup file that will allow other users to install your lexicon in your system.

The basic functions of the program are easy to learn. To create a new lexicon, you can use the program's built-in wizard, which will guide you step by step to create a template that you can fill in with your own words and definitions, adding pronunciation, examples of use, images, and so on. The program gives you the option of downloading only the application or include a Bambara lexicon which you can use as an example to create your own lexicon. Both downloads are free.

Also, the program has an easy-to-follow wizard that will help you to create the setup file to share your lexicon with others.

The only drawback I found is that the latest version is from 2012 and hasn't been updated since then. Nevertheless, the program is fully functional in the most recent Windows versions.

In sum, if you are a linguist, translator, language teacher or work otherwise with languages, then you may find this free program useful.
