Local Cloud is an app that lets users manage the files stored on their Mac systems with iOS devices, while also being capable of virtually storing any file on the user's device.
The application has a simple installation process that can be completed in under 1 minute with a few mouse clicks. As you enter the app, you get in contact with a minimal interface, equipped with basic functions, comprised of only a few menu tabs and colored in a simple black theme.
When you start to perform actions, you discover that Local Cloud has well-implemented features. It has a built-in viewer for common files and a built-in player where you can play your music. Also, users can send files to third-party apps or as an email attachment.
Furthermore, it supports the importing of multimedia files, from the device library, at full resolution, while also saving the Exif metadata. Other integrated features are the possibility to manage ZIP, 7-ZIP, TAR, and RAR files, or to print files with AirPrint.
To sum it up, Local Cloud is an effective app for managing files remotely, from iOS devices. It's free, and though it lacks support for moving files between devices, it remains a very useful application.
