Locko is a security program designed for Mac users who wish to store their private files and account information in one single, safe place. The application offers a very simple and efficient way to lock away email account credentials, software license codes, credit card info, pictures, work documents, and many others.
The first thing you need to do before using this utility is to enter a master password that, when entered, it grants access to the data store within Locko. Afterwards, you can start adding the account information you wish to encrypt to any of the categories listed on the left side of the screen.
A good aspect about this tool is the fact that it keeps your account info in sync on other devices (like iPhone, iPad, etc.)
Another important advantage is that the application uses a powerful encryption algorithm (AES-256) and prevents unauthorized users from accessing your confidential data. Furthermore, Locko provides you with an effective password generator that comes in handy when creating new strong passwords for your email accounts.
To sum things up, Locko proves to be a reliable solution when it comes to keeping all of your private info away from prying eyes. The app is very simple to handle, comes with simple to configure security settings, and is free of charge.
