Lucas chess is a Windows app designed for users who wish to start learning how to play chess game from the comfort of their home. The program gives you access to a wide range of tutorials, allows you to practice what you've learned, and lets choose between multiple difficulty levels for your opponents.
This application is suitable for users of various ages. If you're new with this type of board games, you should start by clicking the "Training" button from the main menu of the app. You can choose from a wide range of practice modes and receive plenty of useful instructions to improve your game.
Once you think you're ready for a challenge, click over the "Play" button and configure the game's settings according to your needs. The app lets you choose the preferred difficulty level for your opponent, interval of time for the moves, etc. A good thing is that you can configure the app to provide you with hints.
The only thing I don't like about this application is its interface. To me, it's a bit unappealing.
Still, this program is one of the best chess tutor apps I tested on my Windows PC. In addition, it comes without a price. So, it's definitely worth installing it on your computer if you want to learn how to play chess games.
