Mac Restart X is an application that lets you restart your Mac remotely. I would say automatically but that wouldn't be accurate. There are four ways in which this app lets you restart your Mac. The first one is via a scheduler. This is the easiest and simplest mode. You simply set the time at which you want the Mac to be restarted. You can select a single day, every weekday, on the weekends or simply everyday. The second mode, called "On Date" lets you select a date on a calendar and set a time for the restart. This is similar to the first mode. The other two modes are more interesting.
The third mode is called "At Launch". Basically, when you activate this, your Mac will be restarted when you launch Mac Restart X. The app will give you some time to save your work, and you can customize the time. The last mode, "Via Webpage", opens a website, and when it finds a keyword, it can restart your system. These two modes are great if you want to restart your Mac remotely. You can execute Mac Restart X via the calendar if you want to use the third mode. And if you have a blog or website, the last mode should work for you.
