MacLampsX is an easy-to-use Mac application that allows you to display various lights around the edges of your screen. This simple tool (similar to Holiday Lights) can come in handy during holidays or any other situation where you might want to give your desktop a festive theme.

MacLampsX provides you with several light bulbs and other items, such as snow flakes, that you can use to decorate the edges of your screen. Even though their number is very small (six items), you can easily add more or even create your own custom decorations (by installing an application from the developer's page).

MacLampsX allows you to choose one of the available animations for selected bulbs, set their level and opacity or you can even select when to show them (only in screensaver, desktop or always). In addition to this, you can easily replace the existing items with a simple drag-and-drop action.
