MacSOUP is an offline reader for Mac. It handles news and mail (but it can optionally interface to Eudora or Claris Emailer, if you prefer to use that for all your mail). It works either with a Unix shell account (in conjunction with uqwk), or with a TCP/IP connection.
v2.8 [Jun 3, 2010]
- Worked around a possible crash on startup with certain kinds of Address Book corruption.
- With very large Address Books, typing in the address fields of an email editor window was very sluggish.
- The Services menu now works in Snow Leopard.
- MacSOUP's scripting dictionary can be opened again with the AppleScript editor in Leopard.
- Minor fixes.
