MadgeTech is designed to streamline the process of downloading data and reviewing it in a user-friendly, time efficient manner. The program offers many customizable features and options, including the ability to change engineering units (dependent upon specific data logger models), conforming to the needs of the user.
v4.1 [Mar 5, 2013]
- Added support for RFCurrent2000A, RFPRHTemp2000A, LyoTemp
- Added ambient temperature selection when calibrating pHTemp101 and pHTemp2000
- Added Sum statistic for pulse devices.
- Process101A data displays in milliamps by default.
- Alarm and trigger settings are displayed in the device's engineering unit if it has one.
- Saving a report to database for the first time will bring up a folder selection dialog.
- Cooling flags can be enabled for graphs that contain more than one dataset.
- Reports that were previously saved to file will default to "Save to file" in the save prompt that appears when closing the software.
- When configuring "Time above" and "Time below" statistics, only the currently displayed units are available for selection.
- "Time above" and "Time below" statistics will automatically update the unit when a channel unit changes.
- Timestamps have been added to messages in the Batch Start dialog.
- Device engineering units should no longer automatically import when they match existing units.
- Thermocouple channels use the correct color preference.
- Excel chart title is the report title.
- Excel tab names include the report title.
- Excel chart series names include device identifiers based on the "Channel Grouping" selection in the software.
- "Manage Axis Positions" has been renamed to "Axis Positions".
- "Set Cooling Flags" has been renamed to "Cooling Flags".
- "Manage Math Channels" has been renamed to "Math Channels".
- Fixed HiTemp140 extended range values being clamped to 260 °C.
- Fixed changes to display settings not writing after settings have been applied once and the Device Properties dialog hasn't been closed.
- Fixed calibration wizard miscalculating the gain and offset for pHTemp101 and pHTemp2000 when using high/low values.
- Fixed crashing when a QuadTemp or OctTemp with disabled channels encounters an interruption in communication during real time.
- Fixed occasional freezing when a wired device is plugged back in after being disconnected during real time.
- Fixed device ID not writing when a single device is started.
- Fixed alarm popups displaying both high and low alarm conditions as being met when an RF2000A series device alarm is triggered.
- Fixed annotations appearing on every reading when a Cryo-Temp or TransiTempII is running in real time.
- Fixed crashing when cooling flags are enabled and non-temperature data is added to a report.
- Fixed datasets not restoring from the recycle bin if they were originally in a report before being deleted.
- Fixed new reports saving to database after saving to file.
- Fixed graphs not updating the Updated column in the report list when the background color, view, or annotations are modified.
- Fixed data tables printing all data when a timeslice is created.
- Fixed changes to Reading column in data tables not saving.
- Fixed pulse rate unit descriptions not displaying correctly.
- Fixed display settings not writing if the LCD turns on or off while changing settings.
- Fixed engineering units with negative gains not displaying correctly and sometimes not writing.
- Fixed engineering units not appearing in unit preferences after being created until the software is restarted.
- Fixed statistics views not saving changes when statistics are added or removed.
- Fixed column widths and statistic property changes in statistics views not saving.
- Fixed column reordering in data tables and statistics views not saving.
