
Magic Script Creator lets you build custom, fully functional AppleScripts by answering a few simple questions. You can even choose to compile your script with line by line remarks, and produce the UNIX manual file for command line tools in an easy to read PDF!
There is no need to have any knowledge of AppleScript to start with. Magic Script Creator has 24 different examples than can be configured hundreds of different ways! All you have to do is answer some questions about each example, and Magic Script Creator will do the rest. It will create a fully functional AppleScript based on the parameters you answered. Most of the examples will involve using UNIX command line tools buried deep in OS X, and Magic Script Creator will automatically resolve AppleScript paths with POSIX paths. It will even name your script based on the specific parameters that you answered!

• Classic Encoding - Create an AppleScript that will encode Classic Mac files in either the BinHex or MacBinary format.
• Burn Folder - Create an AppleScript that will burn a folder to CD/DVD. Options include speed, verify or no verify, mount or eject, and internal or external drive.
• Dock Manager - Create an AppleScript that will let you manage the various settings of the Dock. Options include minimize effect, position, autohide, magnification, size, and animation.
• Combine Tiffs - Create an AppleScript that will let you combine multiple single Tiff images into one Multi-Page Tiff.
• Shutdown Manager - Create an AppleScript that will let you control timed events for Shutdown, Restart, Logoff, and Sleep.
• PDF Converter - Create an AppleScript that will let you batch convert TXT and RTF files into PDF.
• Create Reports - Create an AppleScript that will run various reports about your Mac's configuration. Among these reports are user, users logged in, local accounts, OS version, free space, IP address, machine name, and uptime.
• Record Docs - Create an AppleScript that will record TXT files into audio files for playback. Options include AIFF, AAC, and Wave for file format, and a selection of the built in voices in Mac OS X.
• Number Game - Create an AppleScript that will make a number guessing game. Options include the range of numbers to be guessed from, as well as the number of guesses.
