There can be numerous reasons why your Mac isn't working at its full potential anymore, such as reduced free space on your hard drive, malware attacks, outdated programs and unneeded startup entries. Magican is a complex program that helps you solve any of the said problems within moments, eventually improving the performance level of your Mac.
With the aid provided by this application, you can get more free space on your drives, find oversized files and remove them if they are not necessary, protect your Mac from Trojan attacks, search for program updates, etc. Each tool comes with plenty of additional tips that help you get the results you need in minimum time, even if you don't have the necessary skills to manage this type of program.
A built-in utility which I find to be of good use is Software Updates, a tool that helps you search for program updates within moments, you need an active Internet connection in order to check for all the available updates.
Still, the program has several diadvantages. For instance, the duplicate finder doesn't seem to work, it might take a while for the File Finder to search for oversized files and the application lacks an offline help manual.
Even with the mentioned flaws, I consider Magican to be a great addition to my collection of Mac programs as most of its built-in utilities work great.
