A small application that sits in your menu bar and checks POP3 accounts in regular intervals for new messages.
The main motivation for me to write this was that Mail.app (as great as it is) sometimes cannot connect to my mail server and starts putting up error messages and jumping around in the Dock.
Mia for Gmail (was Notifier Pro for Gmail) is a desktop Gmail client which sits politely in your menu bar.
