Map Quiz is, as its name clearly says, a program that puts your geographic skills to test by offering you various quizzes. This application features 8 levels where your goal is to enter the names of the countries indicated by various map pictures.
The app provides you with a simple interface, an option to disable sound effects, and the ability to change the main screen's resolution according to your requirements. By making the right quiz guesses, you increase your score as well as the number of available hints.
Another good thing is that you don't have to worry about saving your progress during gameplay. The app does it automatically for you.
Nevertheless, there were two aspects I didn't like during my testing: the app doesn't offer you an option to create multiple user profiles (so that other users can also solve quizzes), and you have access to a small number of levels.
All in all, I don't think this application helps you learn more about the countries around the world. This program just tests your knowledge when it comes to being aware of the location of various countries. It's up to you to decide whether it's worth installing Map Quiz on your Mac.
