Preparing math exams and worksheets can be a time-consuming task at times. Math Resource Studio saves you most of the fuss by producing neatly designed sets of exercises and entire workbooks with a minimum of effort. It covers all areas of a comprehensive numeracy program, complete with graphs, puzzles, geometry figures, tables, and drills.
The program works very much like a text editor but without the option to include or design your own exercises. Everything is automated (I guess that’s the true beauty of this tool), and all you can do is decide on the appearance of the whole work. The main interface has an extensive list of types of exercises neatly organized by areas, such as Basic Number Operations, Advanced Number Operations, Algebra, Puzzles, Time, Ratio and Percent, etc. Each of these main groups is divided into a long list of exercise types, from where you can add different tasks to the same or to a series of worksheets, which you can organize using tabs.
When you select one of these sets, the program will display a number of random exercises following the values and settings on a panel in the right-hand side, and there is where you can decide on how you want your worksheet to look. You can determine the number of operations to display, their appearance (in terms of fonts, sizes, colors, etc.), if they should include the answer key or not and in what color, if the title of the sets should be included in the worksheet or not, whether to add a header and/or a footer, etc. The configuration options are endless, both in terms of appearance and of the arrangement of the different exercises. Besides, the actual content of the test can be easily changed, exercise by exercise, with just one click, which will allow you to create various versions of the same worksheet in no time.
Math Resource Studio is one of those computer tools that makes the lives of those who need it much easier. It is capable of transforming a two-hour working session into a five-minute task, producing results that are nothing short of professional, plus all the advantages of working in the digital world, with worksheets that you can save, edit, reprint, shorten, enlarge, reuse, etc. There is a version of the program for every need, from a Free basic set limited to 18 activities to an Enterprise professional edition with no limitations. In between you will find the Starter, Basic, Pro, and Site editions, with a varying number of activities and users.
