Mausam: India's Official Weather App

Mausam is a mobile application developed by IMD - AAS that provides users with easy access to weather products available on the IMD website. This official weather app of the India Meteorological Department offers users the ability to access observed weather, forecasts, and radar images. In addition, the app proactively warns users of impending weather events. The development and deployment of the app is a joint effort by ICRISAT’s Digital Agriculture & Youth (DAY) team and the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM) under the Monsoon Mission program of MoES.

The app's interface is user-friendly, making it easy for users to navigate and access the information they need. With a simple and clean design, the app provides accurate and up-to-date weather information. The app's features include hourly and daily forecasts, satellite and radar images, and severe weather alerts. The app's integration with IMD's website allows users to access detailed information about weather patterns and events across India.
