MaxTo is a program that lets you divide your monitor into regions.
Then, you will be able to place an opened window in each defined region.
When you run this program, you will be presented with controls that will let you split the screen horizontally or vertically. You will then define regions. You can modify the size and shape of those regions by going over a boundary, clicking on it and moving it with the mouse. You can define as many regions as you want, and display maximized windows in each region of the screen.
The program's icon will remain in the system tray. By right-clicking on it you will receive access to a menu that will let you modify or highlight the defined regions, disable the program, enter the options menu or exit the program.
In the options you will be able to define hotkeys and set the terms and time the program will start at or check for updates.
MaxTo works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7 beta, both in 32 and 64 bits versions. In order to run this program, you will need .NET framework version 2.0 or higher.
v2015.3 [Apr 25, 2015]
Improvement: Remove "focus mode" completely. Our data indicates it was used very little, and we felt that it had nothing to do in MaxTo anymore.
Improvement: Bundle Visual C Runtime with installer. This increases the installer size (almost doubles it), but is a lot quicker during installation, installs less things on your machine, and it is the right thing (TM) to do.
