This program comes as an alternative to using your default browser to access your Facebook account. You can use this Menu Bar application to comment, check the newest posts, like pictures, accept friend requests, chat with other Facebook users, and much more.
The first thing you need to do after you install this tool is to enter your account credentials and log in. Afterwards, you can start posting videos or pictures, comment other users' statuses, etc.
This utility also offers you a Start At Login option within the Settings panel. In addition, the application uses a very small amount of CPU resources while it's running on your Menu Bar.
Unfortunately, not all features are available for usage unless you make an in-app purchase and upgrade the app to its Pro version. Once you make the payment, you will be able to use the app's desktop mode, define a global hotkey for revealing the main window of the program, and have access to an optional Dock icon.
However, if you don't require the aforementioned Pro features, Me for Facebook might prove to be a smart addition to your collection of Mac applications. Hence, I'd say it's worth trying it on your computer.
