Microsoft Edge Dev is an online browser tool that is based on Chromium browser and which introduces a new and faster engine for making the browsing experience more enjoyable. Compared to the default Windows browser, this version includes additional functionalities that can be used by advanced users to improve the online experience by providing useful feedback to Microsoft engineers.
The browser interface looks similar to the default version, though this one has a dark theme set by default. Other than that, there are the common side panels, configuration menu, the URL toolbar, and lots of menu tabs.
Microsoft Edge Dev introduces a new way of organizing tabs by using the tab groups. This way, users are able to visualize more than one tab at a time.
Another cool features is represented by the possibility of searching for images using the sidebar. Moreover, with 'Require authentication before autofill' feature, individuals gain an extra layer of security, that prevents other users from using their stored passwords.
Furthermore, users are able to compare various product prices by using the built-in price history tool, and they can even solve math problems thanks to the Math Solver function.
To summarize, Microsoft Edge Dev is a complex web-browser solution for MacOS, that embeds lots of new functionalities and brings the users more close to the developers to help them improve the online experience. At times, there are some synchronization issues, and some of the extensions don't work properly, but they should be fixed in time.
