Microsoft Maren is a Windows extension that allows Arabic users to communicate in their own language when not having an Arabic keyboard at hand. The application is free and completely integrates with Windows, enabling you to type Arabic in Roman characters in most applications and on various websites.
The application is absolutely easy to install and use, and it is automatically installed on you language bar, and you can switch to a different language whenever you want. If the Arabic language is not installed on your computer, you will also have to follow a series of steps before being able to use this application. You have to go the Control panel, open "Regional and Languages options", then click the "Languages" tab, and finally, check the box "Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages". Once you do that, you can proceed with the installation of this extension.
