Internet is not needed for this software to work because it automatically calculates the time and date of up to 5 cities based on your system's date and time. The time and date are displayed as a popup notification. Microsoft Time Zone application also lets you compare time of different places in the world without changing your system time. You can select your cities from a number of cities already available. Microsoft Time Zone brings the multiple clock feature from Windows Vista to Windows XP and that is for free. It is very easy to use with minimal options. It works very well with Windows XP and Tablet PC. The only prerequisite is that .NET Framework 1.1 must be installed.
