Mighty PDF is a Mac application that provides you with a simple way to check the contents of your PDF documents and offers you multi-tab support. This program comes as an alternative to using the Preview app (Mac's default PDF reading tool) for reading and editing PDF files on your computer.
The utility brings you a straightforward interface, supports drag-and-drop action, and allows you to alter PDFs with minimum effort. You can use this tool to add geometrical shapes to your PDF documents, highlight text content, and print pages from the input files.

My only concern regarding this application is the fact that it occasionally runs slow, especially when clicking the Annotations button from the top side of the screen.
All in all, I'd say it doesn't worth installing an additional program on your Mac for reading and editing PDFs just because it offers multi-tab support. You can use Preview, a feature-rich tool, for completing the aforementioned tasks.
