MindNode is a Mac utility that enables you to quickly and easily create mind maps. This program helps you keep track of your new plans, connect your ideas with ease, and print or export the resulting projects to a wide variety of file formats, such as PNG, PDF, RTF, CSV, and many others.
You will have access to a quick tutorial that will show you how the tool works and how to immediately complete your tasks in MindNode. You can find additional instructions on the homepage of the developer.
A great aspect is that the program also comes with a Quick Entry mode. It's basically a smaller tool window that can be accessed from your Menu Bar. By clicking the program's icon, you will reveal a small screen where you can immediately add a new mind map and configure its settings according to your needs.
The only problem I had while working with the tool was that it kept displaying an error on my screen. It said "MindNode Helper cannot be opened because of a problem" and that I should try reinstalling the program as it may not be supported by my Mac. According to the info, I got from the download page my Mac is compatible with the utility. So, I'm not sure why this error kept popping up on my desktop. Whenever I tried to close the error window, it immediately reappeared on my desktop.
In conclusion, I think you should first test the program on your Mac, see how it works, and then decide if you want to keep it or not.
