Requiring the latest version of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition installed for it to work, Minecraft Dungeons & Dragons is a premium downloadable content (DLC) heavily inspired by the tabletop role-playing game. Here, you’ll embark on a thrilling adventure and choose from one of the four character classes available.
Created by Everbloom Games, Minecraft Dungeons & Dragons seamlessly integrates the mechanics of the well-loved tabletop game into the virtual sandbox world. After you pick a class and set your character’s stats, you are then thrust into a quest to solve the mystery of the missing villagers.
The fate of your character rests on the decisions you’ll make as well as the results of your dice rolls—just like in actual D&D. You’ll have a dragon companion as you explore iconic locations like Candlekeep and Revel’s End. The DLC is also designed with a custom soundtrack.
Overall, the Minecraft Dungeons & Dragons DLC for Minecraft is an exciting, new way to play the sandbox game. It combines regular gameplay with tabletop RPG elements, resulting in a refreshing experience. There’s a rather limited amount of character classes to choose from, however.
