minimalwords is a simple but nice word game in which you must form words with the letters given but always respecting the length indicated at the bottom of the screen. There will be a group of letters falling from the upper part of the screen and you must form a word before they get to the bottom. If you can't form a word, the program will show you one of the possible answers and you can continue playing. As you advance, the word length will increase, so the game will get more and more challenging. To form a word you have to select the letters by clicking on them with the mouse. It is a shame that you cannot type them, which would be more comfortable and faster.
The game features only one mode and only one difficulty level. The graphics are simple but attractive, sounds are OK, and the music is a bit annoying, and sadly, you cannot mute it. The game can be played in English and Spanish.
In short, if you are looking for a simple but challenging word game to pass the time, minimalwords may work for you.
