This utility was designed as an alternative to using Mac's Finder or Spotlight apps to find and launch programs on your computer. The tool provides you with a quick and easy way to open applications, launch URLs in your default browser, and much more.
Personally, I had some difficulties using this application mostly because it lacked an integrated help guide. If I knew exactly where to find certain options from the start (with the help of a Welcome or Quick Start window) maybe it'd been easier. I had to figure it out myself and learn how this utility works as the developer doesn't offer you any detailed info about the program on its homepage.
As soon as you launch the app on your Mac make sure you don't click anywhere on the screen. Wait until the program loads and displays its main window so that you can set a global hotkey for showing the interface of the app. Otherwise, you won't know how to reveal the utility's screen and launch other programs.
After you follow the aforementioned instructions, you can start using the built-in search tool to find the apps you wish to launch. You can also enter URLs which will be opened within your default browser.
Even though it comes with an annoying flaw (lack of a help guide), I still think it's worth trying the app on your Mac. Plus, it's free of charge.
