Mom's Calendar is a very simple calendar that you can print empty to take it anywhere you go and you can use it as an everyday calendar on your desktop as well. The calendar has a very simple user interface and it isn't very attractive. You will be able to select the background color or set a picture as a background. You can customize the week starting day and font color, type and size of week header and date square. You can easily add events to the calendar by clicking on the desired day and the same goes for editing events.
Sadly, the calendar doesn't have alarms or reminders, but you can add flags with a distinctive color for different events. It is also pretty big to have it on your desktop, and unfortunately, you cannot adjust its size or make it transparent. A good thing is the calendar can be exported as text, HTML, or as a picture.
In short, I really wouldn't recommend Mom's Calendar as a desktop calendar because it lacks many important features and there are plenty of better applications out there. However, it may be a good choice if you want to print an empty calendar to fill it later.
