MoneyWiz Personal Finance is intended to manage all your finances from a single place. It has the main advantage of synchronizing data across devices, which lets you keep updated at all times. It supports managing an extensive list of financial aspects, such as accounts, transactions, investments, bills and budgets. Probably because it has so many features, it can be somewhat overwhelming for the new user; to compensate that, there is appropriate help documentation, though.
The application has a beautiful modern interface. Luckily, there is a left-side panel that allows you to browse all the features without much difficulty. Besides, it lets you access summarized information about the category, for instance, how much cash money you actually have at the moment. Unfortunately, unlike other similar tools, this app does not allow setting custom workspaces.
A good way to start is by configuring the desired budget categories. Likewise, you will need to add accounts and recurring expenses. Luckily, the app supports connecting to a very long list of banks in more than 50 countries. This way, you hardly ever need to enter data yourself. Yet, this does not mean you cannot manage accounts manually if you need to. It is also very convenient that the app can show notifications when a given bill is due.
MoneyWiz Personal Finance can automatically update current prices for stocks, forex and cryptocurrencies. Likewise, it shows how well your investments are doing by keeping a historical performance of your portfolio.
As said above, MoneyWiz Personal Finance can sync your data, which helps not only access them on different devices but also share info with other members of your family. Luckily, the product is cross-platform, so you can access your accounts from portable iOS and Android devices as well as Windows computers. Unfortunately, there is no way to access from a web browser.
In order to have a complete view of your finances, this app allows creating reports of various sorts. It is a good thing that these reports contain charts, which allows having a visual notion of the represented data. Reports can include your entire budget or just the desired area of your finances. Likewise, you can save recurrent reports to avoid configuring them again. Moreover, they can be exported as tables to CSV or PDF files. Unfortunately, exporting data to QIF or TurboTax seems not to be allowed.
All in all, MoneyWiz Personal Finance is one of the tools of its type supporting more features, practically covering every aspect of your personal finances. The product is available from the Mac Store as a free demo version. In case it is what you are looking for, you may want to buy the Standard or Premium versions, available as in-app purchases.
