A separate “Monosnap for Games” tool is installed altogether with Monosnap, and it can quickly take full screen snapshots of your games, while you play them, just by pressing the F11 key. The tool supports almost any kind of games, regardless of whether it’s the one that uses DirectX 9 or newer, OpenGL.

Another remarkable change is that now you can customize the file names for the saved screenshots, using handy file name templates.

As for the rest, Monosnap remains the same powerful and easy-to-use screen capture tool that provides you with all the features that you might ever need from such a tool. There are customizable hotkeys, plenty of editing functions, numerous uploading options, and so on. Unfortunately, it still can supports only two output image formats: PNG and JPEG.

In conclusion, since it’s also completely free, Monosnap continues to be one of the most attractive choices for when you’re looking for a reliable, feature-rich and simple-to-use screen capture solution.
