Moo0 ScreenShot is a free application that allows you to take screenshots in a snap. You can easily take screenshots of the entire screen, an active window or a window part just by pressing the buttons or using keyboard shortcuts. What is more, the shortcuts can be customized for your convenience, offering two options, but you cannot select your own hotkey combinations. It also offers multiple output formats including BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG and ICO, and of course you can also select the folder where you wish to store the screenshots. Unfortunately, it doesn't offer other customization options like the ability to add colored borders or take shaped screenshots.
In addition to this, the user interface isn't very attractive, but at least it is very simple and intuitive, and it is available in a great variety of languages.
In short, Moo0 ScreenShot is a very simple and handy screenshot capture tool that is perfect for beginners, since it offers all the options they may need, and besides, it is absolutely free.
