Rather than a single game, Move or Die is a collection of games with different goals and rules. In this respect, there are different scenarios, such as tiles falling, rockets exploding and strange characters chasing you. However, the minigames do have something in common: you need to constantly move your character if you want to survive. The game is very fast-paced: every game session lasts around 20 seconds. Besides, you are awarded points as you achieve the challenges. In the end, the winner scoring the expected number of points wins the entire game.

The fact that this is a multiplayer game supporting four players adds an extra element of emotion. Fortunately, you can play not only online but even sharing the same keyboard with your mates. Besides, there is the possibility of practicing by yourself offline. In this respect, the game supports using four controllers, the keyboard or a DDR pad.

Every player has a chance to pick a character as well as their favorite minigames. Later, as you earn points, you can use your score to acquire skins for your character and unlock game modes. Notice here that you will not fight against your playmates but bots.

The design of the stages is very basic (2D) but attractive. The characters are cartoony with no intention of making them realistic or the like. The music is OK but still it does not match the spirit of the game at times. One of the things I love from this game is the possibility of modifying the game. For this purpose, there is a level editor, in which you can add new stages, characters and even change the rules. Definitely, this modding part is something I like as much as the gameplay itself.

The game must be run on Windows 10. Although it also has some hardware requirements, they are not something you cannot find in most modern computers. However, it may have some drops in FPS when running on an AMD processor.

All in all, Move or Die is a frantic game you will love to play with your friends, which makes it particularly suitable for parties. It is so fast-paced that you will feel that time flies, so there is no chance to get bored. The product is unfortunately not available for trying but the price is OK. It is available on Steam together with additional packs that are bought separately.
