In order to create a clip, all users have to do is make sure they have an appropriate MP3 file to be cut. Once an MP3 file has been selected, they will be taken to a clipping screen where they can use the sliders to indicate the clip they want to keep. After that, they just need to save and set it as a ringtone.
Sadly, the app doesn’t support any file type other than MP3. Though it never advertised that it could support any other file type, it would have still been nice to be able to turn other file types into ringtones. Despite this limitation, MP3 Cutter and Ringtone Makerdoesperform well in it's advertised function. The output audio after you cut the music doesn’t lose any of its quality after the cutting process.
It also doesn’t support adding any effects to the music. Users must make sure that the files they want to cut don’t need any more embellishments.
The last thing to note about this app is its design. As mentioned above, in terms of interface, the Mp3 Cutter and Ringtone Maker is very intuitive. The aesthetics do leave a bit to be desired as it hasan orange, pink, and purple color scheme that’s very straining to the eye. There’s also no way to change this color scheme which makes it even worse.
